Given the small size of the phone, I was surprised to see that it comes in such a huge box! Like the size of one of my shoe boxes! Inside you’ll find the sexy little X6, a set of old-school style “over the head” earphones, a data cable, a charger and the necessary user manuals.
Once in my hands I enjoyed it's lightness, clean lines and simple look. It’s a bit of a change from what I’m used to from a Nokia as it is a touch screen - and I've not experienced Nokia's take on touch screen technology yet. I'm somewhat embarrassed to say that I did need to use the instruction manual to figure out how to insert my SIM card.
I was completely stumped until I realised the slot on the side of phone which looked more like a memory card slot than one for a SIM card was the one to use. I come straight from using an iPhone, so I’m not sure if it’s just going to take a few days to get used to Nokia’s navigation system but right now I want to tear my hair out and throw the phone across the room.
It is infuriatingly difficult to use but I’m hoping it’ll just take a few days before I get the hang of it.
Wish me luck!
