This was love at first fondle.
With a thrillingly responsive touch screen, crisp display and intuitive handling, the Samsung Wave is one incredibly smart phone. It's a lightweight but the metallic exterior gives it a real feel of slick seriousness. It's slim enough to slide into jean pockets or the little zippered compartments of your handbag and if you've been crackberry-resistant or disinclined toward the iPhone, this is certainly a handset to consider.
The Wave runs on bada, Samsungs own smart phone platform, and there's a good number of free apps available in the Samsung App store. Look out for the quirky Fart_Machine or the iRecipe e-book. All of the usual social media apps (Facebook/Twitter) come pre-loaded, as well as an effective one for gmail.
The biggest win for me though, is that the Wave defaults to any available Wi-Fi connection, saving me the data charges I would usually incur.Considering that I've hardly stopped pawing at it since receipt, the battery life seems pretty good, having only been charged twice in one week.
HD video playing and recording and a 5.0mp camera rounds off this beauty with brains.
The Samsung Wave certainly is well-endowed, and it makes for a pleasurable ride, to say the least.
