I haven't been this excited to get a piece of software since the last release of Photoshop (the king of all software, in my opinion) and now I have it: Office 2011 for Mac. The much hyped, eagerly anticipated business management package recently made its way onto my sacred Mac and so far I have to say, I'm impressed.

After a painful separation when I moved from a PC, I have Outlook again. Yes, you heard right. Entourage is dead. I shed a tear of joy when I saw that familiar yellow O logo. Over 40% of my day is spent writing and replying to emails so this is a momentous event for me.

What do I like so far?

I threads my conversations, it has that built in calendar that non-Mac users take for granted, everything is a click away and it is FAST! It downloads my emails faster than my BlackBerry sometimes. I haven't spent much time exploring the rest yet, I'll let you know in a few days.

For now, it's back to the battle with my inbox.
