To write a snapshot on the N900 is almost impossible, as even at first glance there is so much going on with this phone.
The Nokia N900 works on a operating system called Maemo and for those of you who don't know, this is just the software on the phone. For those of you who do know, I don't need to explain anything more. The phone is bulky and rather heavy, but its sleek design and professional look does give off the impression that you, as the user of this phone, mean business.
If there was a video tutorial that showed a first time user how to set up and work this phone, I'd watch it as the N900 is not what I'd call user-friendly. It takes a while to get into the logic of the phone and operating system, and even still it's not quite logical in the way other Nokias are and have always been. This could be due to the fact that Nokia can't really seem to settle on a universal operating system for any of their devices, but hey, I'm just guessing here.
This phone requires more investigating and a lot more use before I have anything substantial to contribute, but if you are looking for something simple and easy, I would suggest moving on, now.
