've never used an Apple product before, not even an iPhone, and if I'm honest, all the laptops I've had before are downright boring in comparison to this. This MacBook Pro is just plain sexy.

Even the packaging is sexy and opening the box was an absolute pleasure – it looked good and there was nothing to connect or put together to get it to work. It just worked.

The 17-inch Macbook Pro that I'm reviewing is slightly bigger than most notebooks, which is a problem if you want to use your existing notebook bag, but this size is just perfect for me for me though as I need the larger screen for editing my photography.

The quality of the screen is just superb which just makes all the difference in the way my images look. I'm looking forward to editing more images with it, and seeing whether it makes a difference in my productivity. I'm also looking forward to seeing how this MacBook copes with my photography workflow. I'm also interested in whether it will take as much strain as my desktop PC does, but I don't expect that it will – it's exceptionally powerful,.

Regardless of what happens, I'm sure I'll be having fun with it in the process, and I can see myself having to buy one of these, as soon as I can!
