So this little girl was lucky enough to be the PROUD winner of a Sony HDR-PJ10 Handycam WITH a built-in projector at our recent GirlGuides Sony event. Can anyone say super excited and spoilt?

The cold hard fact is that I’ve never been much of a camcorder girl.  I by far prefer a good ol’ digital camera.  The upside of a camera is that if the mood grabs me I can still take a little video clip of something exciting that is happening.  I’ve never understood the appeal of a camcorder, but I have to tell you that this little gadget is already bringing big smiles to my face. Truly, the possibilities are endless.

Not only does it record in HD, but I can also take pictures with it. And because it has the built-in projector I can quite literally record something, hit the “projector” button, aim it at a wall/white board/the ceiling and play it back to all who are willing to watch…how incredible is that?

Will the Sony Handycam convince me that I’m the camcorder type after all?  I don’t know, but I’m definitely willing to give it a shot.  I might even be convinced to include a sample clip in the in-depth review.  Wish me luck!
