The Nokia N97 Mini is an amalgamation of touch and functionality - the coming together of sophisticated technology into something usable and useful. But mostly it's the love child of an iPhone and a BlackBerry.

This slick version of the Nokia N97 phone took quite a bit of getting used to as I am a firm believer in buttons and a keypad not touch screens. As the weather starting cooling down and my N97 and I had more alone time indoors which helped me gradually warm up to it.

Imagine my surprise at the fact that I could become so attached to a tiny touch screen phone. It's true though and it was my life-line on a trip to Sandton to visit Bafana Bafana recently. My experience with the N97 Mini has lead me to believe that the capacity of this miniscule phone has been severely underestimated.

That being said, because it's a Nokia I did expect easy navigation which it lacked. I am, however looking forward to downloading a few games from the OVI store as well as delving a bit deeper into the functionality of this phone.
