Out of the box, this Samsung beauty is long but slim, black and sleek, with no buttons on the machine itself, a very smooth eject section which simply folds down when you eject from the remote, and a simple pull out flap covering the USB port.
This Samsung specimen is a whole lot more than just a simple DVD player, and yet the set up is as simple as can be with just a power cable to plug into the wall and an HDMI input cable to pop into the TV, and you’re ready to go.

The first thing that went into the Samsung DVD/BluRay/Smart TV enabled/ Wired Internet connection (and so it goes on) Player, was a CD, which automatically switched the TV on and started to play.
So far I’m impressed with how hassle-free the “set up and go” has been and I hope it stays that way!
